We are finally here. The first time this year we can see the Giants play in a game. Yes, it is an expedition game against a team that we will not even play once in the regular season. Yes, it is a meaningless game in the standings and come October 3rd, the last game of the regular season, no one will even remember who they played in their first spring training game. What this game is though is new life. A chance to get to the post-season. I know they can do it. Last year they were 4 games back of first place in the National League Wild-Card and 7 games behind first place in the National League West. So I think this is a perfect time to make my season prediction.
I think that the San Francisco Giants will win the National League West by one game (they will be up by two games going into the final game of the season and lose the last game) over the Dodgers, who will win the National League Wild-Card.
