(Okay he may have given up his captaincy in the off-season but it is still fun to call him Captain Jack)
A trade was completed yesterday afternoon between the Bobcats and the Warriors. It was a 2-for-2 deal, which means that the Warriors traded Stephen Jackson and Acie Law for the Bobcats’ Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmancovic. Stephen Jackson, who gave up his captaincy over the off-season, had wanted a trade after the first game of the pre-season. Both Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmancovic are, according to an outside source, very solid players and will help the team.
In other Warriors news: The Warriors have four people from their roster out due to injury or illness. The starting Center, Andres Biedrins hasn’t played in the past four games due to a back and groin injury. The San Francisco Chronicle reports that he will be reevaluated next Monday. Other Center, Ronny Turiaf, has not played in the previous 6 games and hasn’t practiced due to a knee injury. Point Guard C.J. Watson has tested positive for Swine Flu and will not play in tonight’s game or tomorrow’s game. The most devastating of these injuries is the injury to Kelenna Azubuike. Kelenna is out for the rest of the season due to a torn patella tendon.
