Giants finish at .500 for the first month of the season

The Giants have finished the first month of the 2009 season and are 10-10. From where I sit in San Carlos, this is very good because at the beginning of this year the were doing horrible (at one point they were 2-7)! I even thought before the season that they weren’t going to go 10-10. I thought [...]

A great season comes to a disappointing end.

At the start of this season the Sharks came out with a bang winning a bunch of games. If only that could have carried on to the play-offs. The Sharks lost Monday night to the ducks making them 4-2 for the series and getting knocked out of the play-offs. They really shouldn’t have lost that game or [...]

Update on Should We Trade Matt Cain? I think We Should

The Giants finally gave Cain a bit of support. The Giants won 8-3 on tuesday and Cain got the win. Edger Renteria contributed to the win with the 7th grand slam of his career.

Update on Sharks already down 2-0 in the first round of Stanley Cup playoffs vs. Ducks

The Sharks finally won 4-3 tuesday in a hard fought game. If they keep this up the rest of the series they will win it! I think this series will end with the Sharks winning it in 7 games.

Sharks already down 2-0 in first round of Stanley Cup playoffs vs. Ducks

Should We Trade Matt Cain? I Think We Should!

Matt Cain is not as bad as his record looks. Last year he was 8-14 and the year before that his record was 7-16. Those numbers make him look like a horrible pitcher who has no idea what he is doing up on the mound. THESE NUMBERS SHOW NOTHING!! He has such a bad record because the [...]

Jackie Robinson night brings memories (and great confusion)

Yesterday was the 62nd anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier in baseball.  To honor it they had every person who played and managed wear the number 42 on their jersey. I think it is great that MLB honors Jackie Robinson (why shouldn’t they, he broke the color barrier that stopped a lot of people from playing baseball) but they [...]
