Today it was announced that Tim Lincecum has won yet another award! This time he won the TYIB (this year in baseball) starter of the year. Approximately 12 million votes were casted and Tim got 24.5% of them! This is his third award of the season!

Today C.C. Sabathia agreed to take the largest contract in Major League Baseball history. The Yankees will give him a seven year contract for about $160 Million. Agreeing to be the Yankees new ace, he gets the honor of being the starting pitcher for opening day 2009 at the new Yankee stadium.
