Brian Wilson had an ERA of ZERO going into this game. He had pitched 7+ innings and didn't give up a run (three hits and three walks in the same timeframe). While I would agree it would have been good to see Timmy finish out the game, maybe Bochy and Righetti had other info and giving the ball to someone who hadn't given up a run and spread six runners over seven innings isn't such a bad thing. I agree, however, they should have let him face at least one more batter with a 4-1 lead. It wouldn't have been so bad (unless of course he got hurt).
